Today Ukraine has 3497 confirmed COVID-19 cases, 63 patients died of complications

In Ukraine, September 22, coronavirus disease was confirmed among 3,497 people. We also know that 1,769 patients recovered yesterday and 63 died from complications.

The data from the National Security and Defense Council and the Ministry of Health prove the information as of Wednesday morning, September 23.

184,734 people in total were diagnosed with coronavirus in Ukraine during the whole epidemic. Of these, 81,670 patients recovered and 3,705 died from complications. 99,359 people continue treatment for COVID-19.

The daily record of found cases in Ukraine per day is 3584 recorded on September 16.

The largest number of patients with coronavirus disease over the past day was found in Kharkiv region (403), Ternopil region (337), and in Kyiv city (307). Over 100 cases are also in Odessa (287), Lviv (252), Dnipro (176), Chernivtsi (144), Ivano-Frankivsk (136), Donetsk (129), Kyiv (128), Chernihiv (126), Zaporizhia (115), Khmelnytskyi (112), Rivne (106) and Volyn (101) regions.

The second day in a row sets a record for the number of the recovered in 24 hours. The day before 1717 patients recovered.

Currently, coronavirus disease is detected in:

  • Vinnytsia region – 5455 cases;
  • Volyn region – 7132 cases;
  • Dnipropetrovsk region – 4394 cases;
  • Donetsk region – 2634 cases;
  • Zhytomyr region – 5191 cases;
  • Zakarpattia region – 9343 cases;
  • Zaporizhia region – 3149 cases;
  • Ivano-Frankivsk region – 12811 cases;
  • Kirovograd region – 1024 cases;
  • Kyiv – 20,335 cases;
  • Kyiv region – 8148 cases;
  • Lviv region – 19045 cases;
  • Luhansk region – 814 cases;
  • Mykolaiv region – 2643 cases;
  • Odessa region – 12130 cases;
  • Poltava region – 1630 cases;
  • Rivne region – 11459 cases;
  • Sumy region – 3280 cases;
  • Ternopil region – 12069 cases;
  • Kharkiv region – 15908 cases;
  • Kherson region – 868 cases;
  • Khmelnytsky region – 5049 cases;
  • Chernivtsi region – 13448 cases;
  • Cherkasy region – 3238 cases;
  • Chernihiv region – 3537 cases.
We have no data from the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Donetsk and Luhansk regions, and the city of Sevastopol.
