“Ukraine is hungry for investment like never”: State Property Fund guarantees transparent and open privatizing process on equal terms

The State Property Fund guarantees a transparent and open privatization process, with equal conditions for local and foreign investors.

Dmytro Sennychenko, the head of the State Property Fund of Ukraine, wrote about this on his Facebook page.

"Ukraine is hungry for investment like never. A lot of disposable funds in the world are looking for the best options for investing. The competition to attract them is intense. But even in such competitive conditions, Ukraine's very attractive for investment. In my opinion, the objects our state is now offering for privatizing are an excellent choice for profitable investment. We, the State Property Fund, guarantee a transparent and open privatization process, with equal conditions for local and foreign investors.

All information on the investment penalty is now available at www.privatization.gov.ua. For each privatization object, we have separate virtual data rooms. Nobody has disclosed such complete information about buying offers. Now the objects are so clear to the potential buyer that it has become much easier to decide about their purchase. No twisted, hidden, or inaccurate information. Plus, it doesn't take any effort or resources to obtain this information.

Ukraine begins large-scale privatization of state-owned enterprises in the alcohol industry. The first privatization auction for the Nemyriv distillery is on schedule for October 15. A dozen more are in the line. There is something to scope out. Producing alcohol in Ukraine based on existing material complexes is a reasonable and economically justified decision since the import of alcohol to Ukraine will be limited by 2024. We expect interest from foreign investors. The market, having been closed and monopolized in Ukraine, is facing an enormous leap.

The State Property Fund has developed a comprehensive draft law on privatization to simplify the process further and protect the interests of all its participants.  In particular, it involves applying English law in sale contracts of large-scale privatization objects. I think foreign investors will benefit from this information. We are waiting for the support of the Law and its adoption by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine soon.

The State Property Fund joined to create the investment guide, "UkraineInvest Guide", presented today at a press conference. Ukraine is a chance.
