The Cabinet of Ministers revealed how the restrictions in the red zone areas have changed
The State Commission on Technogenic and Environmental Safety and Emergencies has set restrictions for "red" quarantine zones.
The Government portal reported.
For the first time, the state commission did this together with the local commissions on Technogenic and Environmental Safety and Emergencies, because earlier the local authorities complained that Kyiv didn't consult with them, so they frequently ignored the restrictions.
In red zone settlements, regulations forbid visitors in cultural institutions, cafes, restaurants, shopping malls and sports centers. Also in quarantine zones, they extended the ban on visiting social and rehabilitation facilities. Only registration centers for the homeless, mobile teams, and social and psychological support units will run.
Who is in the "red" zone now?
The list of epidemiological high-risk-areas includes:
- Chop city in the Zakarpattia region,
- Peremyshliany and Pustomyty districts of Lviv region,
- Berezhany city, Zalishchyky, Zbarazh and Ternopil districts of Ternopil region,
- Slavuta city and the Volochysk district of the Khmelnytskyi region,
- Kaniv city, Cherkasy region, Hertsa and Kelmentsi districts of Chernivtsi region,
- Nizhyn city and the Nosivka district of the Chernihiv region.
The work of educational institutions was banned in Chop city, Zakarpattia region, Kaniv city, Hertsa and Kelmentsi districts of Chernivtsi region.
In Slavuta city, Berezhany and Volochysk district of Khmelnytskyi region, the ban will not apply to preschools, i.e. kindergartens will operate. We'd like to recall that educational institutions are not automatically closed in the "red" zones. Local and central authorities decide this together.
Regulations restricted public transport in Kaniv city, Peremyshliany and Pustomyty districts of Lviv region; Volochysk district of Khmelnytskyi region, in Hertsa and Kelmentsi districts of Chernivtsi region.
In Chop city, you may transport passengers only in cars, if the car has only 5 passengers.
