Fokin named the conditions under which he will leave the TCG
Vitold Fokin, First Deputy Head of the Ukrainian delegation in the Trilateral Contact Group (TCG) on Donbas, talked about the conditions under which he will stop taking part in the TCG work. He doesn't shut out that it could happen in a month's time.
He spoke about it in an interview with "Ukrainian radio".
According to him, he can leave the TCG not because he is "now being dragged through the mud."
"It won't break me. But if I don't get support from the authorities, I'll be forced to leave. Although I know that many people will be disappointed because they trust me and expect positive decisions from me," Fokin said.
He also commented on the time when he could leave the TCG.
"I dismiss the terms of the ultimatum. We always need to look for a compromise. If within a month no one listens to my proposals, then I'll probably think about leaving," Fokin added.
