Perzhanska Ore Company donated over 2 thousand food packages to Zhytomyr region residents
The Perzhanska Ore Company of the well-known Ukrainian entrepreneur Hennadiy Butkevych has provided food packages to Zhytomyr region residents vulnerable in the COVID-19 epidemic.
Free food packages are delivered to alone seniors of 80 years old and over, low-income families, people with disabilities, and other socially unprotected categories. 2121 food sets in total have already been delivered to the region. As reported, the company responded to the local authorities' request. Social services of communities will carry out the distribution.
"As a responsible business, Perzhanska Ore Company cannot stand aside. We ask everyone to take care of themselves and not take risks when leaving their homes. Therefore, responding to the request of local social services, we provide Zhytomyr region residents with these packages. The mission of the Perzhanska Ore Company and the entire BGV Group of Ukrainian entrepreneur Hennadiy Butkevych is to make Ukraine and its people stronger. With the beginning of the epidemic, we have already purchased the items needed for medical institutions in the Zhytomyr region for over 14 million hryvnias: protection for doctors, equipment, inventory, and medicines. And we plan to continue helping. The key thing that we ask Zhytomyr residents is to be attentive and caring to their health," the company said.
The grocery set includes a "shopping basket" of essentials: butter, several types of grains, pasta, tea, sugar, salt, cookies, and more.
Assistance is being distributed in 28 united territorial communities of the Zhytomyr region from today. Among them are Baranovska, Andrushkivska, Khoroshevska, Ushomyrska, Chervonenska, Chyzhovska, Novoborovska, Oliivska, Luhinska, Korninska, Horodnitska, Vchoraishenska, Poteievska, Semenovska, Vilska, Aprelska, Pyshchyvska, Teterevskaya united territorial communities and others.

To recap, entrepreneur Hennadiy Butkevych has helped the Zhytomyr region with the beginning of the epidemic. The ATB corporation, where he's a co-owner, donated 24 thousand free food sets for unprotected Ukrainians to the Zhytomyr region.
We know that at the moment Hennadiy Butkevych has allocated over 14 million to purchase supplies needed to fight the coronavirus. So, his company BGV Group purchased and sent over protection for doctors, medicines, multifunctional beds, equipment to medical institutions of the region.
Recently, the ATB corporation delivered a system for PCR diagnostics for coronavirus to Zhytomyr.
