In the morning, the russian invaders launched a massive attack on the Kharkiv and Zaporizhzhia regions with a record number of S-300 missiles from the Belgorod region and 35 rockets fired from russian-occupied Tokmak district, Zaporizhzhia region, Air Force spokesman Yurii Ihnat said on the air of the national telethon.

The Kyiv and Poltava regional military administrations reported the activation of air defense in their respective regions.

Suspilne reported on the sounds of explosions in Vinnytsia and Khmelnytskyi. Vinnytsia Mayor Serhii Morhunov said on Telegram that the city's anti-aircraft defense system was activated. Khmelnytskyi Mayor Oleksandr Simchyshyn confirmed the blast in the city and warned of power outages.

Ivano-Frankivsk and Lviv regional heads also reported explosions and air defense in action. The head of the Lviv region, Maksym Kozytskyi, said there might be power outages.

The sounds of explosions were also reported in Zhytomyr. At the same time, the head of the Zhytomyr region Vitalii Bunechko noted that residents could hear loud explosions, but these will be scheduled demining works.
